I purchased a Ubiquity UniFi Switch 16 XG in the summer of 2019 for my home-based business and network. I use my network HEAVILY and it is spread across my house and in my garage. I have servers in the garage that need a fast link to the rest of the network in my house.
I have my main desktop pc that I have also hooked to the network via 10GB SFP+ using a fiber cable ran to the Ubiquity UniFi Switch 16 XG. I also have a Ubiquity UniFi 48 Port 500W POE+ switch, but it only has (2) SFP 1GB SFP ports, and (2) 10GB SFP+ ports so I would only be able to connect my pc and the other switch.
My garage has another Ubiquity UniFi 48 Port 500W POE+ switch so the two are linked via 10GB SFP+ via 10GB OM3 Multimode fiber optic cable.
Yes, the Ubiquity UniFi Switch 16 XG is a bit overkill, as I only needed a few more SFP+ ports, but there are not many other options out there, and for future expansion the Ubiquity UniFi Switch 16 XG made the most sense!
I have the Ubiquity UniFi Switch 16 XG Linked to my Ubiquity UniFi 48 Port 500W POE+ switch via a DAC cable, then I also have a server next to that network rack hooked up via DAC cable also, then the 3rd port I am using on the Ubiquity UniFi Switch 16 XG is the one going to my main desktop pc so it has a 10GBPS link to my main server and rest of the network which makes it great for file transfers between my desktop pc and file server.

Today I discovered the Infinity Basslink all in one amp/subwoofer that was in my wife’s car was nonfunctional, after some further research the culprit is a couple of resistors that typically burn out on the circuit board.
You can find those resistors on Amazon for ~$6 here (yes in bulk quantity and you only really need 2)
While you only need 2, unless you have some of the exact 3.3K Ohm, 1/2 watt +/- 5% resistors laying around the cheapest option is to buy 100 of them on amazon.
I have ordered these, and already desoldered the old burned-out ones and tested them and verified they are no longer reading the right values. I will do a follow-up article and maybe a full write up once I receive the resistors in 2 days.
Also did a check buying the parts from Digikey, If you have other parts to order then it may be a better deal but they are about 6 cents a piece from Digikey and then you have to pay a minimum of $5 shipping or so, so it still works out to be cheaper/faster from amazon.
If you have no other need for that many resistors, as in no other electronics projects they could be used in you can pick up a 10 pack on amazon for $5.42 at the time of this post. But keep in mind, I chose the 100 pack as that puts the cost per resistor down to $0.06 the same as Digikey and that’s not counting shipping

Typically, when you try to access a website on the internet, you start by connecting to your internet service provider (ISP).
